HIRING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) TRANSPORT SERVICES
The New Times Publications Ltd invites eligible and qualified transport companies and individual vehicle owners to submit sealed proposals for the provision of Electric Vehicle (EV) transport services.
The tender seeks to engage service providers capable of supplying the following categories of vehicles:
Option 1
- Two (2) BYD Yuan Up Electric Vehicles (or equivalent standard EV SUV).
Option 2
- Two (2) Vouture Electric Vehicles (or equivalent standard EV sedan/SUV).
Scope of Services
Lot 1: Daily Hire Basis
The successful bidder shall provide:
- Two (2) Electric Vehicles.
- Operating schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- The quoted daily rate shall include the driver and all vehicle charging costs.
- Vehicles shall be dedicated exclusively to The New Times Publications during the contracted working hours.
Lot 2: Monthly Hire Basis
The successful bidder shall provide:
- One (1) Electric Vehicle.
- The vehicle shall be hired on a monthly basis.
- No driver will be required.
- The bidder should indicate the monthly rental charge separately.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested bidders should submit:
- A copy of a valid Trade License.
- Proof of registration to operate transport services.
- Recommendation letter(s) for similar assignments.
- List of previous or current clients with contact references.
- Details of the proposed electric vehicles, including make, model, year of manufacture, and registration details.

Interested bidders are requested to submit their proposals in sealed envelopes clearly marked:

Important Dates
- Tender Announcement: 10 June 2026
- Deadline for Submission: 25 June 2026 at 2:00 PM
- Tender Opening: 25 June 2026 at 3:00 PM at The New Times Board Room.
The Tender Opening will be conducted in the presence of The New Times Tender Committee and representatives of bidders who wish to attend.
The New Times Publications Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without incurring any obligation to the bidders.
