REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

In line with the provisions of Regulation No.11/2017 on corporate governance, risk management and internal control requirements and regulation No. 2310/2018 on licensing requirements for insurers and reinsurers, BK General Insurance Company Ltd would like to recruit competent and skilled persons who fulfil the following requirements.

Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

Reporting Line: Chairman, Board Audit Committee.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Internal Audit Manager will carry out the following duties responsibilities:

  1. Establish and implement a risk-based audit plan;
  2. Evaluate the adequacy of BKGI policies and procedures;
  3. Review the levels of compliance with established policies, procedures and controls;
  4. Evaluate the means of safeguarding the company’s assets;
  5. Coordinate and conduct regular assessment of internal audit function;
  6. Review and assess the implementation of external audit recommendations;
  7. Carry out audit and prepare audit reports to be submitted to the audit committee.

Qualifications and experience

The Candidate shall have at least:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, Risk Management;
  2. Master’s degree in the above fields will be an added advantage;
  3. Candidate MUST have either of the following professional qualifications; CPA, CIA or ACCA;
  4. At least 7 years of progressively responsible full-time experience as an auditor of which 3 has been passed working as a Senior Manager of the organization or as a board member of a financial institution.

Languages

Must be able to communicate in English and French with command of language in one of the two languages.
